Journal of Energy Economics and Financial Studies (JEEFS)

1. Peer-Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to JEEFS undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.

  • The identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

  • Editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations, scholarly merit, methodological rigor, and contribution to the discipline.

  • Possible decisions include: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.


2. Publication Ethics

JEEFS adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors must:

  • Submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Properly cite all sources and acknowledge contributions.

  • Avoid plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and redundant publication.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.

Editors must:

  • Evaluate manuscripts fairly and without discrimination.

  • Maintain confidentiality of submissions.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest in editorial decisions.

Reviewers must:

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.

  • Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.


3. Plagiarism Screening

All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software.

  • Manuscripts with similarity levels exceeding acceptable thresholds will be returned or rejected.

  • Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.


4. Open Access Policy

JEEFS provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available supports the global exchange of knowledge.
Readers may:

  • Read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to full-text articles

  • Use the material for lawful academic purposes without prior permission

Proper citation of the original publication is required.


5. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing others to share and adapt the work with appropriate credit.


6. Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring accuracy of data, analysis, and references

  • Obtaining permission for copyrighted materials

  • Including all contributing authors appropriately

  • Providing ethical clearance where required


7. Conflict of Interest Policy

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or its evaluation.


8. Archiving Policy

The journal ensures long-term preservation of published content through institutional repositories and digital archiving systems to guarantee accessibility and sustainability of scholarly records.


9. Retraction and Correction Policy

The journal may issue:

  • Corrections for minor errors that do not affect conclusions

  • Retractions in cases of serious ethical violations, unreliable findings, or misconduct
    All actions follow established ethical guidelines.


10. Publication Frequency

JEEFS is published twice a year (biannual publication). Special issues may be published when deemed necessary by the editorial board.


11. Submission Policy

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system and follow the prescribed author guidelines and formatting template.


JEEFS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly contribution in the fields of energy economics and financial studies.
